Physical Graffiti is widely considered one of the best-tasting dragon fruit varieties in existence. The flesh is deep magenta with a flavor closer to a sweet berry than the mild, watery white-fleshed types most people have tried from a grocery store.

It is a vigorous climber and a reliable producer, self-fertile enough to set fruit without a partner plant, though yields improve with hand pollination. Ships as a rooted cutting, already established and ready to climb a trellis or post.

Care notes

Give it something to climb — a post, trellis, or fence — and it will do the rest. Water like a cactus: soak, then let it dry out fully. Rot from overwatering kills more dragon fruit than cold ever will. Flowers open for a single night; hand pollinate after dark with a small brush for the biggest fruit.
