Red Lady is the fastest route to fruit in this entire catalog. It is a dwarf, self-pollinating papaya that commonly sets fruit 8–10 months from planting, on a tree short enough that you can pick from the ground.
The fruit is large — 4 to 6 pounds — with deep red-orange flesh and excellent sweetness. Because it is self-pollinating you only need one plant, which is not true of most papayas.
